Steve Gould does it again -- this time with a rifle and shotgun popper shot.
In this exhibition shot Steve Gould uses a Winchester Model 1873 lever action chambered in 38 Special to shoot three steel popper targets. When the steel targets go down they engage pigeon flippers that throw three clay targets into the air. Steve quickly puts down the Model 73 and grabs a Winchester Super X3 to finish the shot and shoot the three clays out of the air.
Steve Gould pulls off an Annie Oakley classic with his Super X3.
Remember the famous shot where Annie Oakley uses a mirror to shoot a target behind her? If you do, congratulations on a long and wonderful life. But if you are like me -- and just know about this feat from books and movies -- you will love this amazing shot done in her honor by Winchester Exhibition shooter Steve Gould.
Outdoor Life Says the New 1885 Low Wall Rimfire Has "Charisma."
Outdoor Life gunwriter John B. Snow recently put the Model 1885 Low Wall through the wringer and really liked what came out in the wash. “Mechanically, the gun we tested was perfect,” noted Snow. “All the rifle’s moving parts – trigger, falling-block action, ejector – snap crisply through their range of motion without binding or excessive wiggle. The trigger on our rifle was especially nice, breaking at just over 3 pounds.”
