The SXR is designed with a receiver top surface and hole configuration suitable for using the same family of scope base (and rings) designed for the Browning® company's BAR family of rifles. The arc of the receiver and the positioning of the attachment holes are suitable for all past BAR-type bases. New Browning BAR and BLR bases -- as shown in the current Browning catalog -- are exceptionally well suited and provide a very solid, secure platform for mounting your optics. These bases are readily available at dealers all across North America.
