The Practical Defender is designed for top performance in the fast-growing "practical shooting" pump shotgun events and is also perfect for camping in bear country or even an occasional grouse hunt. Additionally, it is a capable deer gun, accurately firing Foster slugs or sabots when using a WinChoke® rifled choke tube (available separately). Features an eight-round magazine. Model 1300 Notes: 1. All Non-Defender Model 1300's have a total shot shell capacity of 5 including one in the chamber. Defender Models have a Total Shot Shell Capacity of 8 & 7 in the Costal Marine, subtract one for 3 inch shells in all Defender Models. 2. All WinChoke® equipped guns are supplied with a wrench for removing and installing choke tubes. 3.
